The source
Tewodros II, in profile
Tewodros II pulled a scattered country back into one at the close of the Zemene Mesafint, and died at Meqdela in 1868 rather than be taken — the emperor Ethiopian history still argues over. Struck like the others in the set: the head in profile, raised off a plain ground, the shallowest relief of the three.
- 0165.8 mm across, 5.8 mm deep
- 02Profile relief on a plain ground
- 03Takes a magnet or a hanging cord
